@TJMoe28 It’s an interesting thought. Even a compelling one, as you say. But in the end, I think it diminishes the power that God has over us, and His influence on us, particularly directly. We are told we shall be transformed in an instant.
@AtheistPhoenix God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked. Ezekiel 18:23
Christians do not (should not) revel in anyone’s destruction. That does not, however, make the consequences of rebellion against a perfect and holy God any less true. You can’t jump off a cliff and expect not to fall
@Holy__Bible1 Jesus IS the only way, but how about we post Bible verses? Posting this over this image makes it look like we revel in the death of sinners. God calls all people to repentance, not taking joy in the death of the wicked. Ezekiel 18:23
@mattgaetz I hear her say she wants love, but what she means is she’s lonely. Very different. It’s just all about her. She won’t ever find someone until she stops making herself the center of the universe. I’m I’m I’m me me me. That’s all I heard.
@maximumpain333 That projection is also just as wrong. Go look at a globe for goodness sake. West Wing was a propagandist show pushing so so many foolish ideas.
@Renatta “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matt 5:10
We love you as well, @Renatta; you’re a blessing and an inspiration!
@PlanetGlitch87@ChaskaDaisy@KathyDurbi7nkg@Renatta He’s also a just and righteous God. It’s not about “believing a preacher,” it’s about trusting that the Creator of the Universe knows better and IS better than you. Surely you don’t think you’re the best. I’m not sure I’d be mocking someone else’s belief system if you do.
