@bigfisherm1@chisom_GA@JubrilAjamaku@AFG_0007 U just proved my point 😂 It’s like saying Mungo Park discovered River Niger. Were people not already using it and calling it a name before he arrived? Malaria was known and treated in Africa long befr Livingstone. N quinine came from cinchona bark in South America, not Europe lol
@chisom_GA@bigfisherm1@JubrilAjamaku@AFG_0007 Bro is just mixin everytin up 😂 He thinks once you’re a white man, automatically a Christian. Even within Christianity, there r diff denominations that disagree n hv fought over religious dominance 4 centuries. U can also be African and not subscribe to any traditional religion
@bigfisherm1@JubrilAjamaku@AFG_0007 Also, you need to learn more history. The schools missionaries introduced were largely centered around religion, literacy and English learning. Now think logically, how does that alone translate into the kind of education needed to build industries and develop nations?
@bigfisherm1@JubrilAjamaku@AFG_0007 You people need to take it easy with your surface history. The same malaria chased them away from some parts of Africa for years lol. Have we not been treating malaria before they arrived?
Or countries that didn’t accept Christianity not trading with Europeans?
@bigfisherm1@JubrilAjamaku@AFG_0007 Religion was brought here for evangelism to control not industrialization or economic development. Missionaries came to spread their faith, not to build factories or trade. Being European doesn’t automatically make someone a Christian. Faith and ethnicity are two different things
@TobiAjayi15@Wizarab10 During OBJ time, what % of Nigerians were even on SM? Most of d tribal war today is among people undr 40. Usin OBJ era as a yardstick 4tdy reality is comparin 2 diff worlds. Explaining this to som people is a waste of time, they don’t even read properly before responding wit inst
@Wizarab10 The way people constantly drag Lag, you’d think Lag is behind most states or any state is even close to its level. All states receive FAAC. Delta is even number one in FAAC. At this point, it’s starting to look more like personal hatred than genuine criticism
@jayhemz Lag was built with Nigeria’s wealth 😂 Every state in Nigeria receives fed allocation and fed investment. Does that mean everyone owns Delta State becz it receives some of the highest FAAC? Na all of us get 9ja but that doesn’t mean na all of us be indigenous to every state
@jon_d_doe The Crazy part of stories like this is that any woman who can treat her husband this way wil never wish for him to bounce back, becz she knows it would be brutal once he does. That’s why most of these men never bounce back. They’re drained physically, emotionally and spiritually
@archibong_imoh@fkeyzdagenuis@egi_nupe Same way they asked Folajomi a simple question and he kept beating around the bush. We’re discussing build costs, not qualifications. Are average Nigerians building 3-beds in new sites spending 60m–90m? That’s the question😅
@archibong_imoh@fkeyzdagenuis@egi_nupe You’re speaking frm a developer POV, so it’s normal you’d defend those figures. But are you saying the average person building a 3-bed in a new site is spending 60m+? If that were true, half the houses going up today wouldn’t exist😂. Use 5mins to think about it before you reply
@archibong_imoh@fkeyzdagenuis@egi_nupe I respectfully disagree. These figures are what u get when a project is fully outsourced to a developer/company. Once u add profit margin, overheads, wastage, the price balloons. A properly supervised owner built project can deliver an average 3bed except u building inside water
@fkeyzdagenuis@egi_nupe Exactly my point. Proper supervision makes a huge difference. What’s funny is that people with no experience in construction are often the first to defend these inflated figures, then turn around and complain about high rent. Some people just need cane in this country
