“Today, we have signed a good agreement. For Greenland, the Kingdom of Denmark and the United States. And for NATO and Europe. The agreement strengthens our common defence and security. And it is deeply rooted in the NATO Alliance. The agreement acknowledges and respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Denmark and the Greenlandic people’s right to self-determination.” stated Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, about this historic agreement.

The press took the piss out of the US/Greenland deal.

But as I write about at length in my book, it was always about defence of North America and Canada (Carney can tantrum all he likes)

He got a LOT more than the old deal gave him.

🇺🇸 Golden Dome missile defence
🇺🇸2 new US defence areas/bases
🇺🇸 Expansion of Pituffik Space Base
🇺🇸 Wide US military access across Greenland
🇺🇸 ability to establish other defence areas
🇺🇸 A deal with NO END DATE
🇺🇸 And crucially … restrictions to stop hostile foreign investors gaining control or significant influence over MINERALS and sensitive assets. (Or did you want China to get them?)

Greenland has enormous deposits of rare earths and critical minerals exactly the resources that China wants.

The deal creates a permanent US security presence AND a mechanism helping keep China and Russia away from Greenland’s strategic assets (critical minerals)

It was never a joke… your media and the UN just want you to think it was. Why would they do that?
