Producer with too many fingers in too many pies. Many typos. Views my own. Also illustrator & queer, poly, disabled. He/they. Was in Rife 30 under 30 2022.
Thanks so much everyone who came to this talk or watched online - you can watch it on demand below, and if you want to find that info pack for Radical Wellbeing I mentioned there's a nice big button on my site: https://t.co/j6LQ2bnhC7
Two magical years with @swhelancurtin today. I can't imagine many people making a long distance relationship worth it for me, but the wonder, support and joy of this man are an incredible thing.
Just under a week left to apply for this scratch festival produced by the trainee producers I teach every week over at @tftheatres. This time the theme is Protest of the Everyday - think art about protest, art that is protest, art about the little acts we do everyday as protest.
Calling Bristol's emerging artists!
SPARK is a festival of new performances presented by early career artists at our Theatres in Feb ‘24. Produced by the emerging producers of TFT’s BLUEPRINT programme; this year’s theme is Protest of the Everyday

Today was a series of incredible moments hearing the students and graduates of @IDTCD sharing their experience, knowledge and perspective of #InclusiveEducation. Always a delight to work with them and the incredible TCPID team to share this story #LearningWithoutLimits
Of many wonderful moments with @IDTCD today, it was @TomasMu62235352 who brought tears to my eyes. Well done on sharing your story and looking to the future of what #InclusiveEducation can mean for young people across Ireland
Typically the folk I want to hear this are those who fall under the legal definition of disability but won't use the word for themselves.
If we move away from the idea that being disabled is bad, we can build community, access support, and generally look after each other.
Almost daily I end up wanting to introduce someone to the social model of disability. I remember how transformative it was to hear for the first time that I wasn't the problem.
If it's new to you I highly recommend @weareunltd's resources https://t.co/ztMzg1duu8
Took @tftheatres BLUEPRINT trainees down to @CreativeFstone for Devoted & Disgruntled 'Who Needs Theatre?' yesterday. Lovely to take 6 emerging producers to another region and have their insights and questions so warmly welcomed.
I've definitely had less scenic work trips too.
@bbarber_ It got picked up on that some folk with invisible disabilities couldn't wear masks so it got appropriated by folks who didn't want to wear them for other reasons. Ended up becoming known more as a sign of not wearing masks than for the original purpose 🙃
I don't have a lot of connection with my body. I got a panic attack last year when I tried to follow a beginner's yoga video and the instructor said 'just do what feels good for your body'.
This probably wasn't what they meant.
