So thankful I found it and was able to share it with my students. One of the best class discussions we’ve had as I shared his story and they shared stories about their loved ones who served. Happy Veterans Day to my favorite veteran and all those who served! 🇺🇸

While looking through boxes at my parent’s house this summer, I stumbled across a bunch of docs related to my grandfather’s service in WWII. I knew about his service and time as a POW but had never seen actual docs from that time.
