@mrmalvikscience You would be correct 😄. I worked with some really amazing people. I would never take those years back, but I would also never do them again 😀. It was the most stressful and mentally taxing thing I’ve ever done. I miss my shipmates, not the red (nuclear) tape.
And that’s a wrap on the 21-22 school year. Family, friends, colleagues, and students, thank you for another year of growth, challenges, and adventures. I’m excited to see what next year brings, but for now, rest, recuperate, and plan (in that order) :)

Little bit of luck, good amount of strategy. I use the same 2 words for line 1&2 to setup the strategy (find/eliminate vowels and pairing: sh, st, ch, th, etc)
@mrmalvikscience@fnoschese I have always wanted to use 10 to simplify calculations and focus on the depth and rigor of content, but that would require a lot of changes for me on the front end. I have found most texts and problems use 9.8, so to minimize Ss confusion down the road I use 9.8
@cossettej With the unknown being an input/output of the system. Not mean at all (I also did the @brianwfrank method of totals). If the unknown was internal current in the circuit, maybe a little mean/confusing.
Fun fact: Tonight, if I start the movie The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, at exactly 9:07pm and 38 seconds…
…I can easily be asleep within 15min and wake up in the New Year.
Be safe tonight everyone.
@thebiospace @SteveMaier_ @heymrsbond Equation manipulation. Each variable gets a sticky. Students can move them around to solve for one, then rearrange to solve for another (F=ma). Sticky allows for easy movement on a wall/whiteboard.
To all the folks out there tonight assembling bikes, toys, and play sets. You are strong. You are capable. You CAN do it.
There’s no shame with taking a step back, a deep breath, and reading the directions.
