This week, we are celebrating #worldnurseryrhymeweek. Yesterday was ‘The big ship sails’ which we sang and made potato-print boats for. Today was ‘12345’ which meant more singing and potato-print fish. We also acted out both in our tuff trays. @bastonceprimary#eyfs#moonbug

In Outdoor Learning this week, we have been looking at the Rainforest and how we can use natural materials to create things. We had a go at making some crowns out of willow sticks, leaves and flowers. @bastonceprimary#eyfs#outdoorlearning
We had a lovely visit from @deepinglibrary at the end of last week. We had ‘Eat your Peas’ by Kes Gray and ‘The Elephant and the Bad Baby’ by Elfrida Vipoint read to us. The children loved joining in with the stories and had a great laugh along the way! @bastonceprimary

This afternoon, we had Godly Play in our village church. After walking down, we met up with our lovely reverend, Reverend Carolyn, who told us the story of The Good Shepherd. There were loads of crafty activities for us to have a go at afterwards! #eyfs@CofELincoln#godlyplay
