@MadameGaudet That makes things so much harder. When we left it looked like we would be able to come back, if only for a few days, but now... The 8th grade has already moved on in spirit but it's still got to be hard on them, not enjoying the traditions and closure their predecessors got.

In 6 weeks I will lose my classroom, my students, and my first school. I hoped I had reached the "acceptance" phase but the more I think about not being in my classroom the more I know I won't be OK with this for a while. Maybe it would have been different if we could've been 1/

Even my very first class--the ones now ending their first year of high school--were all very strong-minded and independent, not to mention some of the smartest kids in existence. My colleagues, all creative, energetic, and incredible educators I was constantly in awe of. 7/
