@LP_LaPresse
This this is the proof of the cause of the previous flight delay. And to add insult to injury you also refused to refund expenses caused by you ( cab fair to hotel and breakfast)
@AirCanada I'm confused by your response. You state our flight was diverted due to an unexpected safety-related issue, yet the app showed a delay for "boarding and onboard activities," and passengers were told during the flight that the aircraft did not have authorization to land
Before even arriving at the airport, the flight was already delayed by over an hour. Then, mid-flight, we were suddenly told we were being rerouted to Toronto because Montreal “doesn’t allow landings after a certain hour.”
I’ll acknowledge that Air Canada did arrange a hotel and rebook us quickly for the next morning — but the overall handling of the situation was unacceptable.
Customers deserve honesty, communication, and better planning.
Really disappointed with our recent experience with @AirCanada@tvanouvelles .
Our flight from Miami to Montreal was originally scheduled to leave at 9:10 PM and land around 12:30 AM.
As a result, my wife and I both had to unexpectedly miss a full day of work. We landed exhausted, were sent to an old run-down hotel, barely slept 2 hours before heading back to the airport, and lost an entire day because of poor planning.
