Sometimes the hardest part of being unemployed is not having nothing to do; it is having dreams, responsibilities, and plans but not having the financial ability to pursue them. You apply for jobs, make calls, send messages, and wait for opportunities that may never come. Still, don't give up on yourself. A delayed opportunity is not proof that your future is finished.
The feeling when NEPA brings light after hours of darkness is something you cannot explain to someone who has never experienced it. The fan starts turning, the room becomes bright, your phone begins charging, and suddenly your problems don't look as serious as they did five minutes ago. You start smiling for no reason because you know this happiness may only last for a few minutes. “Up NEPA!” becomes the national anthem, and everybody is praying silently, Please, just give us one hour.” 😭💡
