@elonmusk@grok I don’t see why anyone would continue to have a subscription with grok when the current version is almost worse than the free version. Interrupted workflows, time delays, weekly usage pools across platform and then asking to either pay for useage credits, wait for reset, or upgrade your plan by $270 a month is absurd. At least with daily resets and daily limits, a user could space out a work flow. I hope this changes soon, because what was my Favorite platform, is on my list of subscription cancelations.
From a salesperson perspective, I believe xAI made a major mistake by disappointing so many users. If even a portion of them switch to another AI platform, that’s bad news. People rarely make such significant changes to their habits, but once they do, it’s incredibly difficult to win them back.
Yes, many may see this as a superficial observation, but in a fiercely competitive market, decisions like these rarely have superficial consequences.

@grok I honestly think this change isn't fair. The daily limit was much better than the new weekly limit.
I was in the middle of producing my videos when I suddenly got a message saying I'd used 90% of my weekly video generation limit. There was no warning that the limit had changed, so my entire project is now on hold until my quota resets.
With a daily limit, I could simply continue my work the next day. A weekly limit forces creators to stop working for several days, which is very frustrating.
Please consider bringing back the daily limit, or at least give users the option to choose between daily and weekly limits. Also, provide clear notice before making major changes like this. It would make a huge difference for people who rely on Grok for ongoing creative projects.
Thank you for listening.
