At the opening of OTL Africa Downstream Energy Week 2026 in Lagos, I launched Revision II of the Nigerian Gas Transportation Network Code (NGTNC), an important framework for ensuring transparent and non-discriminatory access to Nigeria’s gas transportation infrastructure. Revision 2 builds on the initial framework introduced in 2020 and the first revision in 2024. It strengthens the rules governing gas transportation while supporting the development of a more integrated and efficient gas market.

I also participated in a panel discussion themed “Regulatory Convergence in African Oil and Gas Markets,” alongside Godwin Kudzo Tameklo, Chief Executive Officer of Ghana’s National Petroleum Authority, and Musa Njie, Director of Water, Petroleum and Electricity at The Gambia’s Public Utilities Regulatory Authority. Our discussion examined the role of regulatory cooperation in improving market efficiency, attracting investment and developing integrated energy markets across the continent.

Across Africa, we need greater regulatory convergence to facilitate cross-border energy trade, harmonise standards and strengthen regional energy security. Such convergence must promote cooperation without undermining the responsibility of individual countries to secure energy supplies for their citizens.

The Islamic University of Madinah has opened applications for its online study programs, allowing international students to study remotely without having to move to Saudi Arabia.

💎The program is open to both men and women of all ages. There is no upper age limit.

❗️Important: All classes are taught in Arabic, NOT English. Applicants must have a good understanding of Arabic to follow the lessons.

Students can study individual university courses or work towards an academic qualification.

💵Is the program free?

The program is generally paid, and the tuition fees are mentioned in the admission guide. However, during my conversation with the university administration, I learned that scholarships may also be provided by various charitable organizations. This means that even though the program is paid, there is a possibility that some applicants may receive a scholarship and study free of charge. Of course, a scholarship is not guaranteed, but I think it is still worth applying.

I realised that the @OfficialAPCNg Youth Leader @dayoisrael has deleted the video he was bragging of sharing brand new 2026 Prado, each costing at least ₦190 million, depending on whether it is A Prado Adventure, Luxury or Premium. The most scary part of this all is that he had tagged the first lady, RAT @SenRemiTinubu & even thanked her for the continuous support.

Where are they getting these monies? What is their budgets? These people are just here to loot & steal the fortune of this country. Only time would tell the extent of damage T-Pain & his people have done to Nigeria.

The @officialEFCC would overlook this. The @NGRSenate @HouseNGR won't see anything here to investigate.
