May 9th. This is worse than a crime. It is high treason, treachery & betrayal against the State. Nothing can justify the insurrection & storming against the state & its institutions. Death & destruction, arson & looting were the products of incitement, planning & criminal intent. This is our version of the storming of the Capitol Hill. Imran Khan & Trump; it is difficult to see which is which. The ugly reality is that Imran Khan is a false Messiah. It is only befitting that he meets the fate of all false Messiahs. The silent majority of Pakistan are appalled & enraged. Domestic Terrorism it was & will endure as such in our collective memory. Swift convictions & severe sentences are a must as punishment and deterrence. And punishment will be meted out to them all.
