a mentor once told me that the person who figures out how to enjoy the process will always beat the person who’s just tolerating it. same hours, different energy, completely different results. find a way to love the grind or find a different grind.
Dang this hits so hard.
I love Tom Brady.
Such a great competitor & without a doubt the GOAT.
But, watching him cry & talk here on fatherhood reminds us that ALL
OUR CHOICES have consequences.
To be the greatest football player ever, requires so much sacrifice.
To make more money, or climb the corporate ladder requires sacrifice.
It's wise to constantly reassess your goals, be mindful of what you actually want, & to weight the costs of it.
Different seasons of life require different goals.
For 5-6 years I worked 13-14 hour days & weekends to create the life I wanted for myself & family.
Now, I work 3-4 hour days & most goals aren't monetary, but to WIN at health, family, relationships, & peace of mind.
It's always a struggle to find balance as a man.
VERY SAD: Tom Brady was in tears talking about how he is not as a good of a father as his dad was 💔
“I know im not as good a dad to my kids that my dad’s been to me”
“When I think about being a dad, I think about him because of what my dad meant to me
In 2009 while watching Stewart Little (1999), Hungarian art historian Gergely Barki, saw the painting "Sleeping Lady with Black Vase" by Róbert Berény. It had been missing for 90 years and had been used as a prop. It was the original.
