My poem “Mile” recently made the longlist for the @WritingEM Aurora Writing Prize.
Although I didn’t make it to the shortlist, it was an honour to be included alongside such talented writers. You can read it online if you like, along with the winners:

Can’t wait for the #WickedMovie to come out, not least because my singing “it’s time to try defining gravity” to my Y10 girls in their physics lesson fell so devastatingly flat.
@dorsetpolice Thanks for the info.
Do you keep the footage for long after the protest has ended? I don’t love the idea of being in a police file just for turning up to a peaceful protest…
@dorsetpolice Thanks for your efforts to make sure both sets of protesters are safe.
I saw some police officers filming the protesters - could you explain the purpose and what happens to the footage please?
We'd like to remind you that temporary powers are in place today in Bournemouth between 8am and 11pm.
Section 60 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act allows for officers to be able to stop and search people for weapons without needing an explanation. Section 60AA of the same act allows officers to ask people to remove face coverings.
A section 35 dispersal zone has also been authorised for the same area and will give officers powers to move on groups or individuals causing – or who are likely to cause – harassment, alarm or distress to others.
