I can't truly thank everyone in this picture enough for the memories made this past weekend. I'm sad to see BronyCon close its doors, but I'm glad to have spent time with people that mean so much to me. I love you all. #FriendshipIsMagic
I would LOVE to see a race go caution-free. It would be the purest form of the sport possible.
Carl Edwards said it best years ago. Cautions erase an advantage the leader earned. Throwing them for anything other than an on-track hazard is a gimmick. https://t.co/MKInyWxa1b
We’re all race fans, right? That means racing…green flag racing…right? Right???
I simply don’t understand the desire for less green flag racing. If that desire comes from low-quality racing, fix the car and/or package instead of creating two arbitrary pre-planned restarts.
@AlextheAdm1ral It's disingenuous too because Mamba's posts also imply if we remove stages/stage yellows, evrery race will just go caution free which is ludicrous.
If the racing is good, green flag racing isn't a problem. And, if long green flag runs become a problem because the racing *isn't* good, that's a CAR problem. Stages would be a cheap band aid, nothing more
@lmm2996 It's pretty insane to think that if we removed stages/stage yellows that every race would instantly go caution free too. Look at Darlington and the Coke 600. Plenty of natural cautions in those races already, and the racing was great. Could've been better without stage yellows!
I really dont want Justin Allgaier to retire. I know he's been throwing that around lately but man you're still at the top of your game. If he can keep this up he could reach some elite company in career O'Reilly wins. Its the same with Denny Hamlin. These guys aren't slowing down
I hate doing this, asking for money, people have their own problems, but I'm homeless atm (including my sisters who are with me).
We normally have our family house to stay in, in case things got rough, but my father trashed it. Water damage, sewage, any problem you can ...
This one’s for @dennyhamlin and all the other whiners about race length
How about we do some actual fkn math before spouting off hot takes next time
Comparing Nashville to Loudon & Gateway is so absolutely disingenuous. Same with Michigan, the fastest track on circuit.
@AlextheAdm1ral It's crazy how big of an impact it has. Look how well SVG's run the last two weeks. I don't think it's a coincidence he's parlayed the Glen into great showing on ovals.
On the flip side, Zilisch had a great day derailed by a tire and his season's only gotten worse.
If we run the "short track package" at all non-superspeedways like a regular car, the Next Gen might have a shot. But I don't anticipate much, if any, passing otherwise
Being at this race in person is good but man I hope they can hit on something because there's literally no way to pass with this car.If the tires can really fall off that would definitely help but at the end of the day the car needs a overhaul because goodyear can only do so much
Makes me happy seeing so many fans ratio this tweet. We all on the same page thank god. The championship format is much better now its time to address another big problem & thats stage yellows.Stop letting TV and OEMs have a say in things. I don't care how much money they bring in
@S1apSh0es The ones who are now saying "NASCAR will never get rid of stage cautions, just get over it" are the also the ones who were saying "NASCAR will never get rid of the playoffs." They've shown they're willing to change and I know this is more to do with TV but we shouldn't give up.
