Victimless prosecutions for violent #knifecrime need to become the norm. Standard custodial sentences for possession of a knife where they have a previous history of a violent offence should mean conviction and prison. Not that prison works, but less, dangerous people on streets

Victimless prosecutions for serious violent offences need to become the norm. Too often the streets flooded with violent offenders because this ethos of ‘no grassing’ leaves the public at risk. Police need more support from top down and CPS need to take action to change culture

This is going to be an interesting period this winter. I fortunately have two parents, sadly both of them are not well, and another relative who also carries the same burden.
