When it's all said and done, Cody Rhodes will go down as one of the greatest wrestlers to ever step foot in a WWE ring. His championship accolades alone make him Hall of Fame worthy.

That being said, I don't think he needs another WWE Championship reign anytime soon.

The next time Cody wins the title, it should be as a heel. As a babyface, I think he's had enough championship runs. The chase is usually compelling, but once he wins the title, the reign itself just hasn't been nearly as interesting.

A heel Cody Rhodes desperately trying to hold onto the WWE Championship, manipulating people, gaming the system, and doing whatever it takes to stay on top sounds far more compelling to me than the clean-cut, golden-boy champion WWE has presented him as.
