The winner of the USD stablecoin race will always be the one that takes Africa seriously. The continent drives the narrative and economic utility story, but it’s users and institutions are still subordinated throughout the integration stack.

@tether have done the best job there so far, and that will remain their not-so-secret sauce. OUSD will become formidable if they lead with Africa, but I’m not seeing early signs judging by the initial list of partners.
