Inspired by @ammaar getting C&C Generals running natively on iPad, I did the same for Warcraft II using Codex 5.6 Sol.
It's the open-source Stratagus/Wargus engine compiled for ARM64, rendering through Metal via SDL2. No emulator, no x86, no streaming from a Mac.
Campaigns, skirmish, and save/load all work, with touch controls. First time I've seen Warcraft II run natively on iPad.
Open sourcing it all below.
I must be super late to the party on this one but:
In Narcos, an Area 51 arcade cabinet is seen in the Catedral prison scene
Thing is, the Catedral prison was operated between 1991 and 1992, but Area 51 came out in 1995!
@jakeformers Long story short: this thing's only problematic feature is that navigation using buttons only can be a bit cumbersome
But I love it. The style is unbeatable
The biggest gaming betrayal of my life was how they announced then quietly cancelled GTA: San Andreas for the Quest
I'm not sure who to blame for it, but I'm salty over it
@RizoaOfficial I don't hate the guy or anything, but yea. This video is kinda clueless.
This reminds me of when people criticized the iPad for not being as good as a regular laptop. Some literally claimed it sucked because, and I shit you not, it didn't have an Ethernet por π₯²
