Last week we had a real flurry of NIF certificates. We displayed our school values so well last week that it was impossible to choose a single winner, he had to have 3!
We loved our End of Year Celebrations in the hill today, following our plans assessing the risk for a picnic, den building, a scavenger hunt and wide games. It was a great demonstration of how well our class works together and cares for each other π @standrewsFCRC
P5 is so proud of our classmate for showing outstanding sportsmanship this week, sharing his skills in PE and helping everyone else to achieve too! Well done! @standrewsFCRC
P5 really worked hard on all our World of Work tasks last week! We did so well reflecting on our skills for mock job interviews and applications. We also practiced our teamwork and problem solving skipls whilst out on the hill! @standrewsFCRC
P5 loved finding out about our new upper school learning character, Moving On Mo! We practised some of the skills we would need to help us handle change, such as teamwork and communication! @standrewsFCRC
P5 is proud of our classmate for challenging herself in Maths, and then sharing her new understanding with others to help them learn too! Well done! @standrewsFCRC
We showed off our growth mindset this morning, testing predictions about which materials were opaque, translucent or transparent. So impressed to hear the class' creative explanations and theories if their predictions didn't match their results! Great scientists! @standrewsFCRC
Our NIF winner this week was inspired by Curious Carlos and asked very thought provoking questions about our Young Carersβ assembly this week. Well done! @standrewsFCRC
Our NIF winner last week was clearly inspired by Loving Larry, spending so much of the week offering kind words and encouragement to his classmates as they took on challenging work. Weβre so proud of you, well done!
So many of our class were reminding us of Focusing Flora this week, paying extremely close attention to minute details as we learned to measure and draw angles! @standrewsFCRC
P5 were excited to return to the hill for some maths work this week, reinforcing our understanding of acute, obtuse and right angles. The class found plenty of angles to estimate in nature, and constructed their own angles. @standrewsFCRC
P5 were excited to see our newly built bike rack. It was great to hear the class' enthusiasm for cycling to school, lots of us (teacher included!) are going to try and cycle to school more in the great weather! @standrewsFCRC
P5 used our time learning beyond the classroom this week to apply our understanding of 2D shapes, challenging each other to describe regular and irregular shapes! @standrewsFCRC
Our NIF winner this week has been reminding us all of Loving Larry, by showing incredible sportsmanship and and support to her classmates in all their learning this week! Great job! @standrewsFCRC
