Risk assessment for the Alpine Coaster has taken place this afternoon and we are good to go for tomorrow at 16:30pm. Thank you to Mr Oram and Mr Close for their support during this risk assessment. 🦖
This group… what a team. We are up the mountain and on blue runs on only the second day. Some showed patience and support whilst others were determined and resilient to over come the challenges of longer run and steeper gradients. Be proud folks! 🙌
Our advance group instructor made Jack E wear the hat as he fell over a few times this morning. Jack was over the moon with this decision. 😂🐤 Well done for being a good sport!
Been super impressed with these two! Ollie and Max are smashing the slopes. Two days in and they’ve got the ski bug! They will be doing this for life - absolute naturals on the slope!
Super proud of our students who have picked up skiing amazingly well. Considering this was their first day on the slopes they have learnt so quickly. Many will be off the nursery slopes by the end of the day tomorrow. 🙌
Some footage of advance group who have already explored some of our upper slopes and shared with our beginners what is in store for them later in the week! #Bardo2024
Icelanders have landed, we're through security and sat on the coach ready for home. Hopefully, we will be back at the acadmey between 3 and 4pm with traffic being good. Students will be in contact with our progress
Final day in Iceland - Lots of waterfalls and a black sand beach at Vik. It is really difficult to say which day has been my favourite, but sewing a whale at the coast off Vik was something special!
ICELAND BONUS STOP! Black sand beaches with sea stacks and basalt columns... What an experience to see whales from the beach... We are all having a whale of a time! MEGA!
