@clcsimon@CompAtSch@quizizz Nice! We use Google Forms for slightly more formal stuff but I like the different game modes on Quizizz and the lesson feature is really good for delivering + assessing as you go #caschat
@CompAtSch A4 Havenโt used it an awful lot yet but Iโve had success using it to rewrite an article (and comprehension questions) to a particular reading age! #caschat
@MrsMounsey@clcsimon@CompAtSch This is cool, Iโm having to do similar with our Y9 coding unit this half term as lots of the lower attaining students are struggling. #caschat
@CompAtSch If the latter, Iโve used @quizizz a lot to work out which topics are generally in need of work and have tailored more lessons to that with extra time spent with the ones who need it #caschat
@CompAtSch A3 does this mean feedback on the lessons or giving them feedback? If the former, I regularly ask students for feedback on what works and what doesnโt while also getting them to self assess their learning #caschat
@CompAtSch A2 Taking part in girl-only events like Ada Lovelace day at RAL and the CyberFirst competition have really helped get girls interested - then complementing this with lots of opportunities for all in school. That and just praising the good work they do! #caschat
CS teacher followers: We're hoping to join a student simracing league but need to source computers! Any recommendations on going about it with hardly any budget?!
