@borgoarteeee All youtube requires for the counter notification claim is a “pinky promise” that the other channel is whoever they say they are. It could be name: Mickey Mouse and address: Mars. They don’t actually verify anything. Been going thru this with 2 channels from Bangladesh stealing.
@borgoarteeee Unfortunately you are not out the woods yet. The other channel will just file a fake counter notification claim which youtube doesn’t require any actual proof and then youtube will tell you to file a lawsuit and in 10 days and they will get the video restored.

Review the copyright process. Fake channels from the other side of the world filing fake counter copyright notifications claimiing content they stole without having to provide any proof, just a pinky promise.
@TeamYouTube Just to be clear as well, I am the one who filed the copyright strike. The other person filed a false counter notification committing perjury without any proof, which should’ve been rejected. I have his emails admitting to it. I need somebody to take a look at this.
