Black Sea peas in general have caught up with the Canadian quality in the recent years. Now there are some final buyers who prefers the Black Sea over Canadian not only for being the same quality but for their logistic advantage and faster availability. There is still a small premium for sure, but the cheaper the peas get, expecting a huge premium for Canadian peas could be misguiding.
