Building a company from Pakistan means my day starts when Europe wakes up and ends when California logs off.

Worth it.

Nobody wants to buy a scraper.

They want the spreadsheet in their inbox at 8am.

Weekend project: a daily email with every new apartment listed under your budget in your area.

One search page a day, one comparison with yesterday, one email.

A big part of the web now blocks AI crawlers by default.

If your product depends on reading the web, that's not a footnote. It's your roadmap.

Some of what people pulled through Crawio this month:

- real estate listings
- Google Maps businesses
- car listings
- software reviews
- job postings

If it's on a public page, it's data.

Me: can you check the price on this page?
AI: I'm unable to browse that website.
Me: *connects Crawio*
AI: $349. In stock. Ships Tuesday.

After 7 years of scraping websites for clients, I built the tool I always wanted: one that lets your code, Claude or Cursor read any web page.

You send a URL. You get the real page back, the one a person would see.

No scraper to maintain. It's called Crawio.

Building a price tracker? Store every price with the time you fetched it.

After a month you don't just have prices. You have a history, and that's the part people pay for.

[Shah @MrPythonic]

Seven years of building scrapers taught me one thing: writing one was never the expensive part.

The expensive part is the morning it stops working and nobody notices for a week.

[Shah @MrPythonic]

What's the one website you wish your AI could read for you?

[Shah @MrPythonic]

Every website is getting a second kind of visitor: AI agents.

Most of the web was built for people clicking around. Agents just need the page.

Whoever gives agents clean access to the web is going to matter a lot more than people think.

[Shah @MrPythonic]

Your AI can reason about any page. It just can't open half of them.

That's the part Crawio fixes: send a URL, get the real page back, from your own code, Claude or Cursor.

[Shah @MrPythonic]

I've been scraping websites for 7 years, most of it for clients on Upwork.

The first version of a scraper was never the hard part. Keeping it working was.

So I built the tool I wanted for myself: send a URL, get the real page back.

It's called Crawio. Three weeks since launch.

[Shah @MrPythonic]

The web has more public data than ever.

Getting to it reliably is the hard part. That's the only thing Crawio does.

Question for anyone who scrapes for work:

What breaks more often, the scraper or the parser?

[Shah @MrPythonic]

Try it from your terminal with cURL. 500 free credits when you sign up, no card.

[Shah @MrPythonic]

Favorite error message: Access denied.

Least favorite: a 200 with an empty page.

[Shah @MrPythonic]

An eBay search page through Crawio. Listings and prices, ready for your parser.

[Shah @MrPythonic]

What data would you pay for if someone collected it for you every day?

[Shah @MrPythonic]

Our public benchmark: 6 scraping APIs, the same 110 pages, the same minute. Crawio returned all 110.
