@ChigozieObi_ I mean it was literally impossible for Jen to have of gone home, the whole vote was centred around coupling up the bombshells. That effectively made them immune from being dumped during that re-coupling there was no outcome that would of resulted in that.

@follsted Instead of being constantly beat over the head with constant darkness, gore and whose knows what all the time, right. Super-hero movies need to strike a balance between that and levity, which most of not all of these movies do pretty well I'd argue.

I mean I don't think making cbms fun to watch is actually disrespecting the genre. In fact the Guardians trilogy has a lot of deeply emotional and heart-warming moments that only go to help heighten the drama and stakes of the story. I'm actually able to sit back and enjoy the films.

@AndyGrail @AkkiZac019 that hates super-heroes/comics to me. That rings of someone who actually understands the genre pretty well and knows what works with audiences. Again I'm no Gunn superfan right, but I am a massive DC fan and I am legitimately happy to see this take on DC.

@AndyGrail @AkkiZac019 that he believes super-heroes are silly, and in turn more grounded. It's like I've always said and why I believe the MCU has been so successful. It's about a balance between the goofiness and the darkness which is what Gunn has managed to strike on. That doesn't ring of a man

@AndyGrail @AkkiZac019 I'd argue the DCU's built off of love for the genre and DC. James Gunn has on several occasions made a point to ensure things are able to remain comic-accurate. Is he perfect, absolutely not but saying it's all built off of hate for the previous universe is a bit much tbh.

@AndyGrail @AkkiZac019 I mean I have zero hate for Snyder fans right, if they like the Snyderverse I'm happy for them. However there is a small but extremely vocal sub-section of that fandom that are pretty nasty pieces of work and they're the ones giving your fanbase a bad-name, right.
