They've spent generations minimizing Scottie Pippen for one reason: to protect the narrative that Michael Jordan was this great winner with a killer instinct.

The reality is Jordan never got past the first round without Pippen.

Even Phil Jackson called Pippen the greatest all-around player he coached during the years they were together. That alone tells you how valuable Pippen truly was.
