The countdown is on for our Grade 4 ukulele performance! 🎶🎸 We’ve been strumming, singing, and rocking out like tiny rock stars in training. There may be a few missed chords along the way, but there will definitely be big smiles, loud music, and lots of fun.🤘😄
We wrapped up the school day with a very special webbed visit from some adorable ducks! 🦆💛 There were cuddles, lots of smiles, and somehow… miraculously… nobody got pooped on.
And before anyone asks: yes, we checked… the ducks did NOT want any grapes. 🍇🎶
Huge thank you to the mysterious grifter who dropped off a batch of absolutely legendary chocolate chip cookies. 🍪 Whoever you are, just know you’ve made my day and awakened my inner Cookie Monster.
Tagging the one and only @MeCookieMonster because I feel like he’d approve. 💙
Thank you to Airdrie Public Library for visiting #NorthcottPrairieSchool today and sharing information about all the fun students can have at the Summer Reading Club!

A huge thank you to Mr. Miller for leading the JEDII Bison Book Program and helping us learn more about diversity, inclusion, equity, and the importance of understanding different perspectives. We are so grateful for the meaningful conversations and opportunities to grow together
The chicken dance joy couldn’t stay contained in one classroom… so we flash mobbed 4P! 🐔🎶😂
There was flapping, dancing, confusion, and probably a few regrets. National Chicken Dance Day done right!

Happy National Chicken Dance Day! 🐔🎶
A reminder that no matter your age, it only takes four simple moves to completely lose your dignity on a dance floor. 😂
Flap on, friends.

We had the incredible opportunity to “Skype a Scientist” with @Jos_de_Bruijne from the @esa!
A highlight was hearing about the Gaia mission—a mission mapping over a billion stars in our galaxy to help us better understand the Milky Way. Minds were blown 🤯✨

We explored the art of printmaking—and let’s just say things got a little roll-y! 🎨
Using foam pieces and brayer rollers, students designed and created their own mandala-inspired prints. It was amazing to see their creativity come to life.

We brought the @nhl Stanley Cup Playoffs into math today using @epoole88’s amazing art 🏒🎨
After some very serious classroom debate (and a little bias 😉), the class has officially predicted the @edmontonoilers to take down the @penguins in the Stanley Cup Final 🏆 (Sorry Eric)
