I was helping to plant a #pollinator garden at an elementary school today when this visitor stopped by to say hello. The kids were so excited and curious. Highlight of the day. #bees#nativebees
Anyone can make things happen, like Eric Davies who has planted 1,500 acorns in the front yard of his apartment to help restore native trees in his hometown #Toronto.

There are over a dozen egg eating snakes. They are awesome snakes - they have no teeth, no venom, and they feed solely on EGGS!!! (Video via Instagram Animal_Encounters)
Very grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the #2018BeeCitySummit. More than 20 Ontario cities, schools working together to protect #bees#pollinators.
A fantastic group gathered for the #2018BeeCitySummit. Great info being shared by #BeeCity affiliates, researchers, beekeepers. Paul Kozak, #Ontario Provincial apiarist now speaking. Lots of learning! #bees#pollinators
#Toronto#history: 100 years ago, an incident at the White City Cafe set-off 3 days of riots and the looting and destruction of dozens of #Greek-owned businesses across the city.
One hundred years ago Toronto experienced one of its largest riots. As many as 50,000 people took to the streets, destroying Greek-owned businesses. As @JeyanTVO explains, resentment towards Greek immigrants had been building for some time. #onthistory#tohistory
@beckarooobanzai Good call! I haven't had much luck with sunflowers with so many squirrels around the yard. This year, only one plant survived to bloom. This couple made it their resting spot for several nights. 😊
