These reading partners made my day! One student prepared their book during independent reading by covering up words like I do during my mini-lessons. During partner reading, they worked through the words together. It was neat watching this partnership learn from each other.

My 1st graders had a great learning experience talking with a Marine Biologist. @SkypeScientist We learned all about how marine biologists study fish and about other ocean animals. It was very engaging! @GunstreamFrisco #skypeascientist
