As part of diversity and culture week, we read the story Noah’s Ark then made animal biscuits and acted out the story in our small world area. In assembly the children acted out the story of creation. We were so proud of our little performers.

And that’s a wrap … there has been a huge amount of writing this term. We are incredibly proud of how well the children have progressed.

This week we read the story ‘Handa’s surprise’, the children painted beautiful watercolour pictures of the fruit in her basket 🧺 and wrote super sentences about what she had put in the basket.
They also created maps of her journey to Akeyo’s house.

Week 3 and our planning board is full 😂🙈 the children produced fantastic sentence writing and life cycles of a butterfly 🦋 we also had some beautiful mini beast observational paintings as well.
