P6B enjoyed a STEM challenge yesterday. They had to follow a design brief with limiations to create a raft that would float with weight. Some wonderful group work team!👍

P6B have been finding out about the types of trees in the Canadien forest. There are some similarities with the Scottish forests too! Good work team!

P6B have been imagining they are Brian Robson from Hatchet and they are using charcoal (from his camp fire) to write a letter. Everyone focused on using powerful verbs and opening sentences with a simile. "As quick as a flash my legs made me run away from the bear."

Today we had our first reflection assembly for #BuildingResilience Skipper helped launch our very own special award: The Miss Lendrum Resilience award. @campiecommunity will recognise termly someone who lives and demonstrates our Campie value of #resilience

P6B have made a lovely job of their birch trees today. These were inspired by the birch trees in Hatchet. Brian is desperate to make fire and notices that the peeling bark of the birch trees could make good tinder.
