Now the #climatecrisis is evident, a common argument by those who still defend polluters is that “NZ is too small to make a difference so shouldn’t have to stop intensive dairy farming or driving Ford rangers to school in Auckland”
Rod Carr destroys it

So. Now we know that Luxon et al want to either a) get rid of sexuality ed or b) make it very straight. So what can you do? As a parent, quite a lot actually, I’m a sexuality educator (I do a bit once a year) and this is my advice…
What are the rules about little blue bibles being handed out on the street directly in front of all exits of a college, so students can't go home without going past at least one of the clutch of people who thrust the books in their faces? 😠
@JoySC01@mindycmindy I REALLY like that he tells us what the question is before giving the answer... since all we can hear are mumbles from the journos.
@comicbookgal@flutieclare Yes. That sounds great. I did a drive by in Botany earlier today and the queue was waaaaay to long to wait around for RATS that might not have been given to me. I'll pop up there after the press conference. TY
@CatherineQ@AmandaKvalsvig@Jeremy11223344@DrJinRussell@ellenstrickland It's so hard to know where to draw the line. Do we keep away until the 2nd dose in mid March and stop the sense of belonging to the group, or do we keep sending an at risk kid into a class when the potential could be catastrophic/ or not depending on how her body responds? 2/2
@CatherineQ@AmandaKvalsvig@Jeremy11223344@DrJinRussell@ellenstrickland They had 2 classes early last week with cases. They all stayed home and have returned negative tests. So yesterday's class (which has a teacher who is more 'effective' with maintaining masking) are staying at school in a bubble. They are not considered close contacts. 1/2
@LostArcNZ Not good. Have an asthmatic, 11 year old with a disability who has only had her 1st dose. Keen to keep it away from her until she's at least double jabbed.
