Ch7Q2: Feedback is an assessment tool I already use daily, and I want to work on making my feedback more effective by being more specific and by not giving it too quickly. I also like rubrics, because they provide Ss with specific areas to work on. #sscbookstudy

Ch7Q1: Effective feedback on creative thinking "doubles the rate of learning" and encourages improvement when it is "formative, frequent and specific." For me, I need to work on giving less praise and work on my timing of feedback. #sscbookstudy

CH6Q2 Yes! I believe it is important to give students the opportunity to learn how to become creative problem solvers, because it is a tool they will not only use at school but also in the real world. It is a "survival skill (p.122)." #sscbookstudy

Ch5Q2: Yes, there is a place for innovation! Innovation is one way to connect Ss to our curriculum. 2 of my favorite units include building a bridge & creating a skill practice, because the innovation of the units creates the engagement my Ss need to connect!#sscbookstudy

Ch5Q4: While engaged in an innovative lesson, I would manage my class by purposefully grouping certain Ss together to create a safe risk taking environment. I would then act as a facilitator. I would encourage Ss to problem solve on their own and work together. #sscbookstudy

Ch4Q1: Imagination is critical to creative thinking, because it is "the spark that ignites creativity (p.60)." Without imagination students would not be able to think differently about ideas, tasks or objects.
