CH6Q2 Yes! I believe it is important to give students the opportunity to learn how to become creative problem solvers, because it is a tool they will not only use at school but also in the real world. It is a "survival skill (p.122)." #sscbookstudy

Ch5Q2: Yes, there is a place for innovation! Innovation is one way to connect Ss to our curriculum. 2 of my favorite units include building a bridge & creating a skill practice, because the innovation of the units creates the engagement my Ss need to connect!#sscbookstudy

Ch5Q4: While engaged in an innovative lesson, I would manage my class by purposefully grouping certain Ss together to create a safe risk taking environment. I would then act as a facilitator. I would encourage Ss to problem solve on their own and work together. #sscbookstudy
