Approval Tip: Another teacher at my high school found @briskteaching last spring & got one person from each department to give it a try. We all went to admin in the same meeting and showed how amazing the features were for every department. Our request was approved in 30 seconds.
Hey @briskteaching! Thanks for helping #clearthelist! (https://t.co/prvVsl2UKj)
We love @briskteaching at my high school and teachers can get free access to their premium features through 9/15.
Serious warning: you’re going to fall in love.
If tomorrow is your #firstdayofschool and you have a new teacher in your building, take a second to send them a quick encouraging email! You remember how nervous you were on that day.
@msteelewrites I have a lot of books on my list for my classroom library! A lot of people forget about the importance of literacy in high school, especially in science! https://t.co/prvVsl2UKj
@Teach_WA If we had to make these in high school, I would walk out 🤣 I think they are so cute, but how do y’all use these in the classroom? Are they like handmade reference posters?
So in year 11, I finally wrote my teaching philosophy and by God it was actually a really good process to begin a school year with.
I feel like you should revisit yours. Make changes if you need to. I feel refreshed and ready for this new year of possibilities.
So our local co-op wanted to write a blurb about me in the science newsletter because for the second year I’ve had a 100% pass rate in #APBiology. They sent a questionnaire of the standard questions and I had to state my teaching philosophy.
Most #Teachersof𝕏 probably wrote theirs in an undergraduate course and were taught how to develop a proper philosophy. Well, my degree is in biology and I probably wrote one when I was getting my masters, but I seriously doubt it makes sense because I was so so tired.
@MrsWLovesLibros I post my list on my personal and teacher account, so I customized the link and both profiles use my unusual last name. Hope that doesn’t seem shady, but the accounts have totally different followings so 🤷🏼♀️
@msteelewrites I have a lot of books on my list for my science themed non-fiction classroom library! High school kids need good books too!!!! https://t.co/prvVsl2UKj
@Ronald__H @amazon I can do without this stuff, but these are so relaxing to observe. I’m going to save up for the stuff if an angel doesn’t come along: https://t.co/D10jGZO1iw
I really want to set up an aquascape in my classroom next to my 55 gallon turtle tank, so if anyone wants to #clearthelist of those 10 items that would be great. https://t.co/prvVsl2UKj #Teachersof𝕏 #aquascape#aquarium

@Ronald__H A pair of shoes for one of my kids and their school supplies 🤷🏼♀️ A teacher’s own kids usually get put behind kids they haven’t even met yet…
@chipgaines Thank you! I’m a AP Biology 🧬, Honors Biology 🧫, Chemistry ⚗️, and Environmental Science🌎 teacher in Arkansas! My list has general supplies and nonfiction books for my classroom library. #clearthelist
