Teachers that stay comfortable don’t make many mistakes, but they usually don’t innovate either. If you want to be awesome, you have to take some risks.
I think effective administrators are usually characterized by these two things: 1) They support their teachers… always having their back. And 2) They inspire their teachers… continuously reminding them of their core purpose -- making a difference for kids.
