So practice has been on the back burner since I started my MA but yesterday I was reminded why I have worked my arse off for the past 5 years to be where I am ❤️
5 months of 1 to 1 support and now im told this kid is flourishing and taking on roles in class ❤️ so jeffing proud!
@derbyunistudent when is the earliest you can enrol in person? 🙏 I dont have it scheduled in my welcome week until the 27th which will delay my student finance 😩 #poorstudentlife
I thought people asking me if I had a job yet would be the worse bit but apparently its that look of disappointment when I say im going back to uni.
I don’t get why doing my masters in SEND & supply is deemed as a failure. Surely im bettering myself? 🤷♀️
On my way to my daughters school for a garden party and I can honestly say im the happiest i’ve been in a long time. After missing out on so much over the past 4 years training I can actually attend something for her ❤️
As much as I am dreading that half 6 wake up call I know all of the kids will be so excited to see me after not being there for a week ☺️❤️
Bring on the last week of term! 💃
Another day, another failed interview. Got told I had such a strong passion & flew through the formal interview but my lesson wasn’t the strongest on the day.
Its soul destroying commiting such an intense year of your life to a career to be constantly rejected.
#mentalhealth
Got taken out for dinner today by a load of the year 3 staff ❤️ As exhausting as the past 3 months have been, I really am going to miss this placement. So glad im going back for the last week of term!
Another day, another interview at a school that wasn’t right for me.
I always thought going into supply meant I was a failure but I think its the right decision until I find my school.
Ive learnt alot about myself this year & supply doesn’t change that im an outstanding teacher
@Misssmith_20 I was in the exact same situation today, its better to realise before its too late. The right school is out there. Also im pretty jelous my day didn’t end up with a choir performance! 🤩
@missk_primary Yeah thankfully we don’t graduate until November. I only have 4 days to make up so its not the end of the world. Its just the stress of having to add more on for illness and interviews. As if PGCE isn’t stressful enough
I despise the fact that i’m on a course that means I can’t have enough days off to actually get better because I have to make up interviews as absences and therefore don’t feesibly have enough days before the end of the term to make up 😷😩
