@usedgov Also wait a long time for the process to go through, finally get your letter that you’ll have your loans forgiven within 30 days, and then have somehow the communication between StudentAid and your loan servicer never happens, and you’re still waiting months later…
Systematic review & meta-analysis: readers' theater showed effects on fluency (accuracy, automaticity, and prosody) and on comprehension. Appreciate that readers' theater can act as a pedagogical bridge between word reading & comprehension. 🌉💗https://t.co/DwFAbPaK0l
Thank you @BethHouf and the whole #LeadLAP crew for this lovely and thoughtful Saturday morning chat. I’m going to try and keep my appointments with you all as self-care! 🥰
A4: I’ve had a couple who truly live the bubble/safe space, and I’ve worked on being a safe space for others. I’ve had a few who were quick to share what others thought were things said in confidence, so it’s especially important to me. #leadlap
A2: Shared leadership is crucial for success & sustainability. I send a google form each summer about current programs, systems, schedules & committees/teams…include interests, goals, passions, & opportunities to share …then I USE THAT DATA moving forward! #leadlap
A3: I’ve only been in my current role since January, and this is a growth area for me. My director and I are constantly reminding others to focus on self care, but we’re both not l we adding by example yet. #leadlap
A2: We’re a new school, starting our third year in existence; shared leadership is a must as we grow and learn. I’m constantly watching for leaders I can cultivate in my staff. Those who already buy into the model will be the strongest advocates for growth. #leadlap
A1: I HAVE to have alerts set on my Google Calendar. As a K-8 principal, there are little fires that need extinguishing all day, so I would easily miss meetings if my phone and watch didn’t buzz at me! #leadlap
Good morning! It’s been a looong time since I joined in a #leadlap chat, and I’m happy to be back! I’m Jennifer, a school principal in the UP of Michigan.
