I just realized I accidentally left my purse at a restaurant and am currently listening to my husband describe it to the hostess as “a big gray bag with a lot of crap in it and no money.”

Mother’s Day has never been something I had to “survive,” but this year, thanks to my husband, kids, friends, and students, I survived Mother’s Day. Apparently, it takes a village to raise me. 😌
Esther: In class, everyone was talking about how their mom was 28 or 29, and I told them my mom is 45.
Me: Thanks?
Esther: My teacher said, let me see a picture of your mom, so I showed her, and she said you look 35.
Me: Awwwww! What picture did you show her?
