@SutherlandScho1#Kinders are learning about PEACE. "Peace is not something you wish for. It's something you make, something you do, something you are, and something you give away." -John Lennon #spslearn#RemembranceDay2024
This is abusive @jeremycockrill. Ask those hamstringed by a lack of funding to help you "make a case" against teachers. Those same trustees who have had to make serious cuts year after year. Arguably, cuts that have caused irreversable damage to S's learning?! @SaskTeachersFed

It's so incredibly frustrating @PremierScottMoe and @jeremycockrill refused to invite a neutral voice to class size and complexity. It was a very fair offer from @SaskTeachersFed NO ONE wants what lies ahead. All preventable. All blame lies with @SKGov
We don’t want to be doing this. Government can end this with binding arbitration for class size/complexity. Lots of people seem to want that too, as 80k+ emails have been sent since Friday asking them to agree to it.

@PremierScottMoe Your PROMISE is just another CLAWBACK. If your commitment to Education is genuine, a binding contract should be no problem at all. The @SaskTeachersFed bargaining committee would be delighted to meet and get this done. #skpoli#weareSTF
Exceptional press conference from @SaskTeachersFed this morning. Grateful for the insights offered by the guests representing BC, Ontario and New Brunswick. Complexity issues are in collective agreements @PremierScottMoe@jeremycockrill It's time to do the right thing.
@ktjdzchip That is the goal! How does that happen without teachers and supports? And, don't confuse discipline as a school problem. That is a parenting responsibility.
@ktjdzchip A simple answer for you is $400 million dollars to reinstate funding that has been removed from school board budgets. This is the meaning of restore.
@ktjdzchip Schools are in a crisis. I agree with you. And, I hope that if you have children or grandchildren, you would support what is needed to restore the school system.
This concept and understanding of it is not difficult. One is the same as the other. Innately, educators are terrible advocates for themselves but do EVERYTHING they can to support their students. It's become impossible and enough is enough. #iamstf@SaskTeachersFed@SaskParty
Thank you Heidi! Teachers across Canada are facing challenges around increasing class complexity, lack of supports for students, and deteriorating working conditions. It has been promising to see other provinces negotiate with teachers on these big issues. Solidarity!

Class complexity is impacted by increasing numbers of students who require additional supports, which include additional language supports, counselling, reading and speech interventions or other learning needs. Class complexity isn't only 'behavioural incidents'.
