@HollyClarkEdu In some places kids are spending the entire day in school on Chromebooks. We need a happy medium - using tech purposefully and also prioritizing face to face time and paper and pencil and book time.
When a teacher asks if I'm free, I can look at my badge and answer ASAP. I don't have to have my planner or Chromebook with me. My smartphone is useless bc there's no service here. But I always have my badge and key.
Sometimes the simplest life hacks are the best. One of my favorite coach hacks is adding a tiny version of my PLC schedule to the plastic lanyard case my ID is in.

One of my favorite icebreaker activities we’ve done at our New Teacher Workshops… On pre-cut papers, Teachers write down tips, tricks & advice that have helped them, then they go “trick or treating” & hand them out while they get their cups filled from others!
It's Hispanic Heritage Month! Our Spanish students created a variety of colorful posters celebrating iconic people and emblems of Hispanic cultures. I will be sharing some of my favorites :)
