Got the #rusd kaufman grant and was super excited to have receive these magnetic tiles set for students to start exploring 3D shapes. We started with finding the area of hexagons with equilateral triangles. Next week they are going to build prisms and pyramids!!
Today we did a castle attack review in ap precalc using @CalcMedic problems and lesson plan and it awesome! Students draw a castle for their team. Each team starts with three lives. They can take down two lives or gain a life if they get a question right. #mathfun#mathclass
Math lottery ๐คฉ. Kids wanted to claim a number on our hundreds chart and at the end, I spun the wheel three times to see who won ๐. #mathclass#mathfun#mathactivities
This is my absent student wall. Iโve been saving paper here with their names and when they come back, they claim their papers. #classroom#mathclass#classroomorganization
@robertkaplinsky Showing this to my geometry students tomorrow! We just did a Pythagorean concept with the same visual on paper and this will be perfect!
Christmas math door is up :)
I have the students make a math ornament over thanksgiving break. Students get different problems and then decorate it into an ornament. #math#MTBoS#christmasmath
