@richkbristol Didn't believe nursery when they said my toddler needed a soft toy to sleep so grabbed one thoughtlessly packing the nursery bag. Whole year only being comforted by a discontinued and irreplaceable Jellycat bear.

On route to @2000trees had a flying visit to @mshedbristol, I've not been since Colston was added. Great to see him with some context, a vast improvement to being on a plinth. Loved the People of Bristol exhibition, and my kid was a fan of the dinosaur that looked like Bristol.

-Y10 and Y11 parents eve on same night
-Silent study hall, exam desks used. Put in PAIRS for silent work
-allowing a student into study hall because he "had to return a pen"

First day leaving the baby and going into to work. 8 whole hours away from him. I've been harping on about how "work is a BREAK from parenting" to my husband for months. I think in my head I was going to chat to colleagues, eat in peace, and generally enjoy myself.

And I did.
