We have been working hard in 2nd grade writing compound sentences with conjunctions. @TheWritingRevol makes it so easy to integrate writing instruction in multiple content areas. We worked on compound sentences in @WitWisdomELA , science, and even an SEL lesson!

We have been tracking our growth on our end of year NWEA MAP testing, and these kids exceeded my already high expectations for them! Thank you @UFLiteracy for creating such an effective and easy to implement program! UFLI Foundations has transformed my students into readers.

I highly recommend this new book by @bwittbooks! I read it to my first graders for Earth Day, and we learned about conservation and Ohio history!

We turned our classroom into the Legend Natural History Museum today and did a gallery walk to share our Ohio habitat projects. Thanks @Keenesmathsci for the help and materials to get our Makerspace started!
