@Mr_B_Morgan Amen to that. Had exactly the same happen to me. So glad you found a head that could see your fabulousness and worth, as I see so many stories where that's not the case xx

[Mrs S @MrsStamp87]

@PrimaryDHT_Mum @MrARawlings Out between 4 and 5 pmTues-Friday. Staff meetings Monday pm for about an hour.

Dreading going back = a teacher that cares SO much about getting it right! A key ingredient in making special teachers.

Not = "mr/mrs negative".

Thrilled to reveal the cover of the excellent 'Where The World Turns Wild' by @nicolapenfold, an eco-thriller MG due in Feb 2020. I'm halfway through and it's absolutely formidable. Cover by @forrester_kate To celebrate, I've got 3 PROOF copies to give away. Win simply by RTing.

@WalkingHead65 My never usually optimist husband just said "oooh that's £12 a year!"...
Yay for turning 80!

[Mrs S @MrsStamp87]

@WalkingHead65 Wow. Who in government made that decision?! 🙈

[Mrs S @MrsStamp87]

Can't wait to start using this text as a basis for my next literacy unit! It's completely full of wonderful imagery and inspiration #literacy #Primary #readingforwriting

[Mrs S @MrsStamp87]

A card and choccies as a half term treat to all teachers, from my wonderful head. I feel so lucky to be surrounded by a very supportive SLT and colleagues who have each other's backs all year round. #staffwellbeing #SLT #luckyteacher

Those week 8 alarms... I 😴😴😱😱

[Mrs S @MrsStamp87]

@teacher_5am @_Reading_Rocks_ @reading I'm using The War of the Worlds, Young Reader edition, and it's fantastic. Great images and vocab. The children get so excited by it!

[Mrs S @MrsStamp87]

@MrsB_NQT Another week here too!! 😴 what a long 8 weeks!

[Mrs S @MrsStamp87]

@MrBoothY6 Wow, that's powerful!

[Mrs S @MrsStamp87]

@MissC_RG This is such a difficult half term, but I bet you're doing an amazing job! Try to relax and accept that you will NEVER get to the end of your list! I've discovered that recently and it's made workload a little more balanced x

[Mrs S @MrsStamp87]

What an amazing day of WOW moments, inquisive children and amazing staff to support their curiosity. My class loved it! Thanks @jodrellbank

[Mrs S @MrsStamp87]

Taking my class to Jodrell Bank today for some Space based exploration! Can't wait 😁

[Mrs S @MrsStamp87]

Well needed time with the hubbie today away from the whirlwind of planning/classroom organisation/subject leadership. It's all been consuming me a bit, but the Manchester Northern Quarter has provided a welcome distraction!

[Mrs S @MrsStamp87]

@RogersHistory I am lucky to have walked away from an awful situation, bullied and broken, but picked up again by my now very supportive and life friendly management team! Nobody should have to settle for people making you feel worthless.
