Chinese Language & Cultural Exchange trip arrived in Xi’an yesterday. From the start, all communication has been in Mandarin. They enjoyed a sunset bike ride & hot pot!

Had their 1st day of language exchange with students from a training institute in Xi'an - great to develop #Mandarin conversations. Also checked out the #Terracotta Army Museum.

[Day 3 Xi'an] Full day with our host school for language immersion - dialougues, teaching English & Mandarin songs, tea ceremony, hotel skills class, bball match, Muslim quarters for street food.

All students hiked to the West Peak of Hua Shan - one of the five sacred mountains in China. It was a wet misty day but still a great achievement for the students!
