Almost every morning, I wake up to news that Ukraine has struck Russian oil refineries and weapons factories, and Russia has deliberately murdered civilians. There is no moral equivalence in this war at all. Those who contend otherwise are either ignorant or malign.
Yes, the United States is just the United Kingdom on a continental land, rather than a small island. You got so rich and powerful because your country operates on British ideals, laws, and institutions. You’re welcome!
The Russian dictator is now so paranoid that he had this Russian artist murdered in Poland for paintings like this.
It'd be a shame if we made his works more popular than ever.
Britain and Poland have signed a landmark defence treaty promising to defend each other by military means, with both nations naming Russia as the most significant long-term threat to European security. Click image for more.

After 18 months of “standing up to Putin” the Labour govt quietly issued a licence allowing imports of Russian oil refined in third countries.
Yesterday Labour MPs voted AGAINST UK oil and gas licences.
We are now importing from Russia instead of drilling in the North Sea.
Insane.
I know everyone is poring over election results, but let’s not forget… Today is VE Day.
It’s still living memory and being able to have elections is one of the freedoms fought for.
That freedom was bought by men and women who served our country.
Even now our veterans need defending.
The battles are different…like stopping brave veterans being dragged through the courts for vexatious claims in their old age.
Conservatives continue to fight. Just yesterday, the Supreme Court reinstated immunities after my Shadow Attorney General, Lord Wolfson stepped in, acted pro bono for veterans, and won.
We’re the only party doing the work.
On VE Day, we remember their sacrifice.
But remembrance is not enough. We should also honour our veterans by looking after them and defending them in Parliament, in the courts just as they defended us.
Russian forces captured 68 square miles of Ukraine last month — and it cost them 4,800 vehicles and more than 36,600 dead and wounded troops.
At the current rates of advance, Russia would capture the rest of Ukraine in the year 2256 at the cost of 101 million casualties.

Graham Linehan should never have been dragged through the courts in the first place.
The real scandal is a system that wastes time on litigious nonsense driven by professional activists while serious crime goes unpunished.
We need to kill cancel culture. Free speech cannot survive if the process becomes the punishment.
This is why I asked Toby Young to review the laws that are stifling free speech so the next Conservative government can put an end to this wasting of our resources.

At least now little girls who dream of Olympic medals will know that biological males can't cheat their way onto their podium...or punch them relentlessly in the face and get a medal for it.
Credit to Sharron Davies and Martina Navratilova, who spoke up despite attacks from those who should've known better.
They spoke up when it was easier to stay quiet and paid the price in lost income and support.
Great quality footage of joint Soviet - German parade in 1939 in Brest-Litovsk after Hitler and Stalin tore apart Poland in coordinated attack.
German Nazi and Soviet Bolsheviks were best friends until June 1941.
