Todays date in American format is 11/23 which happens to be the first 4 terms in the Fibonacci sequence 😍

7X2 had a fantastic lesson demonstrating fantastic focus from the very start and using algebra tiles to understand how we can represent numbers and begin to simplify algebra. Mrs Walker is very proud of you all! #raisethepraise

After reflecting on myself in the classroom I've been reading snippets of research/advice on classroom management & also found some great resource sites. I feel this week has been more productive & better engagement had ☺️

@PiXLMattTheApp @mathsjem I'm sure I will get a lot of good quality usage from what it has to offer. Sometimes I find myself trawling for hours for the 'right' thing or snipping bits & pieces to make sure I offer enough differentiation but this has it all in one place. It's permanently bookmarked 😁

It's time to relax & take stock of what this term brought.
Despite its challenges there are so many positives to take away.
On a personal level being given the chance to learn to teach has been incredible & the support I'm receiving is amazing 🙌🏻 I am truly grateful 💜

Well today is a day I'll remember forever!
Period 5 on a Friday & I managed to teach a year 7 class a maths lesson & it went pretty well! Mentor was very complimentary & the students were fully engaged! I'm so chuffed 💜

Ahhh! So today I managed to deliver a starter task to 2 different year 7 classes that I put together!!
Doesn't sound a lot but it was nice seeing those faces looking back & having a go! X
