No matter how it looks, there are wells of opportunities all around you. It is not silver and gold that you need to do the impossible; it is eyes that see. Faith is the evidence of things not seen. - @pastorpoju

Let me pray this for someone out there. It’s not for everyone. “Very soon, those who did not believe in you, and looked down on you, will look up to you.” And when that time comes, instead of paying them back, you will do them good and show mercy”
LIES YOU SHOULD NOT TELL YOURSELF
1. WHAT IS MINE WILL ALWAYS FIND ME: Who told you that? Abeg get up and go get it...Fortune favours the Brave!
2. THIS IS WHO I AM, I CANNOT CHANGE: No Sir/Ma, Times are changing , your adaptability to changing Seasons will always put you ahead of others. Did you hear a Wise man when he said- Madness is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result.
3. I DON’T NEED ANYONE, I CAN MAKE IT ON MY OWN: No matter how disappointed you are with people, you must need someone at some point to help you navigate through life’s hurdles. God Ordained Relationships are answered Prayers.
4. MY CHARACTER DOES NOT MATTER, I CAN MAKE IT REGARDLESS: Some habits are blessing blockers. Be Careful!
5. I AM TIRED MEANS I SHOULD GIVE UP: This Week, you might get exhausted mentally, physically etc. issues might stress and attempt to drain you. It’s okay to be tired....REST and hit the road again...NO GIVE UP MENTALITY here!
6. I AM WHAT I DO : Overtime , you probably may have disappointed yourself with your actions but always remember- YOU ARE NOT WHAT YOU DO. Your Identity is who God says You are not what you’ve done.
7. I STILL HAVE TIME: You’ve got no time to waste time. Every time you are lazy, someone is working real hard. Every new day brings you closer to your next birthday- I don’t think you have as much time as you say you have. FACE YOUR FRONT. BE ALL IN with your Purpose and MIND YOUR BUSINESS!!!
Hope this made a little sense...
According to the mother: This happened today at around 4:00am. My son woke up saying his chest was hurting and that he needed to see a doctor. Normally I try to avoid rushing to the hospital because I know how he can be, but this time I decided to take him anyway.
On the way there he actually fell asleep, and for a moment I even thought of turning back. But something told me to keep going, so I drove straight to casualty at Groote Schuur Hospital.
Nothing could have prepared me for what I was about to witness in the next two hours.
About two hours later, a woman came rushing into casualty screaming in a way that cuts straight through your heart. She was carrying her little daughter, who looked about 7 or 8 years old. The pain in that mother’s cry was something I will never forget.
Doctors rushed to help, and after a few minutes they came back and told the mother that her daughter was gone.
The mother let out the most heartbreaking scream. Everyone in that casualty fell silent.
But then something incredible happened.
Instead of collapsing, the mother suddenly started praying loudly.
“Lord remember me! Lord remember me! It’s me your servant. I have served you faithfully. You are not a man that you should lie!”
At that moment I found myself sitting there crying, and I didn’t even realise when I started praying with her. She began praying in tongues, and I joined in.
About an hour and a half later, the doctors came back again. The mother saw them and immediately asked, “Is she alive?”
And the doctor said something I will never forget:
“Yes… we’re preparing a bed for her in ICU.”
The entire room froze.
The mother screamed again, but this time it was different. She started thanking God, shouting “Jesus, you are faithful!”
What amazed me even more is that she didn’t run to go see her daughter immediately. She stayed there for another hour, still praying and thanking God.
All I can say is this: I recommend Jesus. I truly do.
Because today, with my own eyes, I witnessed something that felt like a miracle — the power of prayer.
There’s probably only a 1% chance that woman will ever read this, but if she does, I want her to know that she changed my life today.
I will never forget this day.

A few months after I lost my job, I finally got hired again.
Different company. Better pay. Bigger title.
I was excited but also terrified. First day nerves hit me harder than I expected. New office. New people. That quiet pressure to prove I deserved to be there.
The night before my first day, I couldn’t sleep.
At 2 AM I was in the living room rehearsing
introductions in my head, already convincing myself they’d regret hiring me.
My husband walked out, half-asleep, and didn’t ask what was wrong.
He already knew.
The next morning, he woke up earlier than me. Made coffee. Ironed my outfit. Packed my lunch even cut the fruit the way I like it.
When I came out dressed, trying to act calm, he looked at me like I was about to walk onto a stage.
“You don’t have to be the best one in the room today,” he said. “Just be the most you. That’s what got you hired.”
On my drive to work, I noticed something in my bag.
A folded sticky note.
“If you start doubting yourself, read this: You survived worse. You rebuilt. You’re not lucky to be there — they’re lucky to have you.”
I didn’t cry when I lost my job.
I cried in the parking lot before my first day back.
Because this time, I realized something else about marriage:
It’s not just about who holds you when you fall.
It’s about who believes in you when you stand back up. It’s about who waters you while you’re growing not just when you’re broken.
And again… I didn’t have to ask.
He was already awake.
This message is practical to me personally… Got a job with Oando PLC in 2011, was doing extremely well and I made sure my savings, my pay slips and my salary was known to my wife as it comes, she at that time had no job, but I made sure every penny I earned was transparently utilized at home. 2018 Oando had a major shake, area offices were shut down and in some instances, staff were laid off, major shares in Oando then were sold to OVH energy and that shake off affected me. I was laid off and for 5 years it was a disaster taking care of the home. But guess what? My wife got a job with a leading NGO and she immediately became the provider for 5 good years… No disrespect, No pride, No complain, No Noise… nobody knew I lost my job only that you’ll always see me at home if you’re very observant.
I regained my shield and I have made a vow to spoil this woman till I die…
Moral lesson:
Make money a tool in your home, whether it’s coming from you or your wife…
Just thinking out loud, how do people do life without God. Like you are doing life without Jesus. Ah. Life will frustrate you ehn. You need Jesus to go through this world. John 16 :33
Sharing bibles does not make you a good person! Fearing the God of the Bible is wisdom and what makes you!
The bible is a book of instructions, not a graven image; which then means that the giver and the receiver must both do what is written therein!
Nigerians, believers or not don’t let anyone fool you, God cannot be mocked!!
If as an adult, you can pause, rethink, unlearn, and relearn what you have known all your life, you will go far in life especially if you see what you have known is not producing results. Knowledge is continuing not an end. You could believe a lie all your life.
You don't have to do anything to earn salvation, all you have to do is accept and confess the Lordship of Jesus Christ. For with the heart man believes and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Glory to God. Romans 10:10
When a person has always worked all their life to earn anything no matter how small, the message of salvation may seem difficult to grasp. In Christ, you come to a finished work.
Many people's perceptions of God are shaped by their experiences with their earthly parents. By showing love, kindness, and compassion, we can help our children develop a positive understanding of God's character.
Indeed, God's love is unwavering and unchanging.
As Christian parents, let's show our kids unconditional love & kindness, helping them understand & experience God's love for themselves. Many adults struggle to see God's love due to their childhood experiences 🙏❤️ #ChristianParenting#LoveWins
